When Things Go Bump in the Night

Do you have a handgun (or shotgun or rifle) in your bedroom for when ‘things go bump in the night?’ And some sort of a flashlight? Most of us do. However, when was the last time you practiced getting to it? In the dark? And when was the last time you tried the light to make sure the batteries are still good? You need to practice/drill with your bedroom defensive weapon and equipment just as you do with your daily carry weapon. And if you are sleeping with someone they need to be involved. You need to be able to work as a team (or at least know what roles each will play in a self defense scenario). Think about it, talk about it, and then practice!
